We are seeking 6 exceptional Learning Coaches (teachers) to join the founding team of Sister’s United.
We are a new charter school that offers quality education for Pasifika girls from Year 9 to Year 13. In Term 1, 2026 we will be opening for 120 learners total for Years 9 and 10 only. With year 11 being introduced in 2027, year 12 in 2028 and year 13 in 2029 where we will be in full operation of all year levels.
The Sisters United Curriculum weaves an explicit wellbeing focus with academic rigour for creative and innovative learning outcomes through Project Based Learning. Teaching practices and learning styles will include explicit teaching workshops for fundamental knowledge building, collaborative learning for application of knowledge and skill-building and self-directed learning using AI.

The Learning Coaches role at SUA includes:

Wellbeing and mentoring group
-
Explicit teaching, assessment and tracking of a NZC learning area
-
Collaborative planning and teaching with other subject specialists to support learners passions and interests through projects

Connecting with industry experts within NZC learning area to support real-world experiences for learners
